Couples counselling is a collaborative process that helps partners improve their relationship by exploring communication patterns, resolving conflicts, and strengthening emotional connection with the guidance of a trained therapist.

Initial Assessment
I start with an initial assessment session where my client and I get to know each other and agree on how the therapy will go and what’s the core issue we will work with. We discuss the client's concerns, current life circumstances, and goals for therapy. This helps in establishing a therapeutic alliance and creating a treatment plan tailored to the client's needs.
Establishing Goals
Based on the assessment, my client and I collaboratively set specifiс, achievable, relevant goals for therapy. These goals serve as a roadmap for the therapeutic process and provide direction for the sessions.
Exploration and Insight
In subsequent sessions, I provide my client with a safe and supportive environment to explore his or her thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. Through reflective listening, empathy, and insightful questioning, I help the client gain a deeper understanding of him(her)self, his/her relationships, and life experiences. So he or she gets understanding of his or her unconscious reactions, feelings and behavior. It meant that unconscious patterns are getting to the conscious level and can be changed for the ones which are good and beneficial for the client.
Skill Building
Moreover, therapy involves teaching a client coping skills and strategies to deal with stress, anxiety, depression, anger, communication issues, or other mental health concerns. These skills may include relaxation techniques, assertiveness training, problem-solving skills, mindfulness practices, and boundary-setting exercises.
Building Self Confidence
The fact is I help clients cultivate self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance. Through validation, positive reinforcement, and encouragement, my clients learn to challenge negative self-perceptions, build self-esteem, and develop a greater sense of confidence and self worth.
Monitoring Progress
Throughout the therapy process, we regularly review progress towards the established goals. Adjustments to the treatment plan may be made based on the client's evolving needs and progress.
